Adrienne van Eeden-Wharton obtained her MA degree in Fine Art (cum laude) from the University of Stellenbosch in 2005 and is an artist, writer, researcher and educator. She has participated in various exhibitions in South Africa and is a regular contributor to a number of local publications. Adrienne is currently in Zurich, Switzerland, on a Pro Helvetia Artist in Residence grant to work on her project Red Letter. She also works as a producer and photographer in the documentary film industry and as project manager and researcher for the Visual History Archive - a South African non-profit entity focusing on the digitisation and preservation of southern African audio-visual material and the creation of freely accessible online archives.
