Karla Black

Karla Black has exhibited nationally and internationally, recently with major presentations at Scotland and Venice, 54th Venice Biennale, Venice and the Turner Prize exhibition at the Baltic, Gateshead (both 2011). Karla Black is one of the Turner Prize nominees for 2011.

Selected solo exhibtions include Capitain Petzel, Berlin 2010, Ten Sculptures, Kunsthalle Nürnberg, Nürnberg 2010, Karla Black: Sculptures with paintings by Bet Low (1924-2007), Inverleith House, Edinburgh 2010,  Modern Art Oxford, Oxford 2009, Migros Museum, Zürich 2009, Mary Mary, Glasgow 2009, IBID Projects, London 2007. Black also presented a solo exhibition at Mary Mary, Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art 2006.
