This event featured a programme of seven artists’ films, representing the period from the 1970s to the present day. Each work appropriated aspects of conventional cinema using strategies that range from direct sampling to allusion. The screening was introduced by the event’s curators and was followed by a discussion.

Artists included: Anita Di Bianco, Jesse Jones, David Blandy, George Barber, Martin Arnold, Ivan Zulueta, and Lewis Klahr.
