Inverleith House and Mary Mary host the launch of the first major monograph devoted to the work of Glasgow-based artist Karla Black. Published by migros museum für gegenwartskunst Zürich; Der Kunstverein, seit 1817. Hamburg; Modern Art Oxford; Inverleith House, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and distributed by JRP Ringier, it brings together documentation of the solo exhibitions held at each of these institutions in 2009/10 as well as a catalogue raisonné of sculptures created between 2001 and 2009, a new text written by Karla Black and an interview with her by Heike Munder.
