For the 2010 outing of the Festival, Tramway and GI worked together to create a programme of exhibitions, screenings and events across all of Tramway’s unique and distinctive spaces, with each project referencing the Festival’s theme of ‘past, present, future’.

Photography is easy: a retrospective screening of films by Leslie Thornton. Over the last thirty years American artist Leslie Thornton has been producing a body of work that explores the boundaries between formal rigour and the emotive power of images. Curated by James Richards.

The Voice is Language: a diverse events programme of artists’ film and performance including new work by Sophie McPherson, Cara Tolmie and Sue Tompkins, which orbits the legacy of avant-garde pioneer Meredith Monk. Curated by Isla Lever-Yap
