A symposium to discuss public art commissioning in relation to Jacqueline Donachie’s residency and new work in Bellahouston Park.
Using examples of innovative, challenging and exceptional works commissioned for public spaces, on varying scales and of both a permanent and temporary nature, the day will provide a platform for discussion from local and international standpoints within the context of a public park. The day will be followed by a live performance and music event in collaboration with Glasgow School of Art.
