Susan Philipsz Short Listed for Turner Prize!

All at GI would like to offer their congratulations to Susan Philipsz for being shortlisted for this years Turner Prize!

‘Lowlands’, which was commissioned for GI Festival 2010 and has been playing daily by the Clyde for the duration of GI has been sited as the the project that won Susan the nomination.

Festival Director, Katrina Brown has commented:
‘GI Festival had a fantastic response to Susan’s work throughout. We’re delighted to see such an engaging artist recognised at this level and for such an ambitious but fleeting project in the heart of Glasgow.’
