This page is here to assist you plan your trip to GI, whether you are a group, on a research trip or visiting Glasgow for the first time.

Professional Visits
Key dates in the opening weekend are:
Thu 19th April - Festival launch events and party from 5pm - 3am
Fri 20th April - Exhibitions open to the public from 10am
Fri 20th & Sat 21st - Afternoon and evening previews in venues across the city.

Further events targeted at professional audiences run throughout the festival.

Professional Registration
For festival launch invitations and the schedule of opening weekend previews, professional events and networking opportunities during the festival Arts Professionals should register with the festival.

Group Visits
Glasgow International is the perfect time to plan a visit for research in Scotland with your colleagues, patrons, collectors groups and friends.

We recommend a minimum of two days in the city to see the key festival exhibitions.  The visits team can also give advice on organising studio visits with artists based in the city and further background information about the visual arts in Glasgow and elsewhere in Scotland.
